But a lesser known use of hair transplant surgery is for eyebrow hair transplants. This procedure is very different from other hair transplant surgeries.

Surgery for the eyebrows is different from other surgeries because eyebrow hair is quite different from scalp hair. Eyebrows have a distinct pattern of growth – each section of the eyebrow points in separate directions. The hair grows out at a sharp angle and then falls flat downwards, ino the face. On the other hand, Scalp hair has a gentler angle wrt to the skin and grows outwards.

Hair is taken from the scalp and the follicular units are divided into individual hair grafts. Then these grafts have to be inserted in the site.
